How do you like your steak?

My grandpa from Georgia used to do a fabulous steak for everyone on July 4th. Dipped in chocolate sauce, sprinkled with chopped marshmallows & globs of peanut butter and jello, and then BBQ'ed. It was great.

With gravy
And paprika.
then a lot of salt.

I just like a simple medium rare steak with maybe just a smidge of steak sauce. Nothing fancy.

I actually LIKE the taste of a steak and think it's a sin to ruin it with all that stuff. Just wipe it's butt with a bit of flame and throw it, bellering, on the plate. Red and juicy, Texas style, that's the only way to eat it.

Medium RARE bar-b-qued, baste once or twice with butter add a light mix of salt, pepper, garlic and dill seed. Salad, garlic rolls.

oh wow i don't think i would try that concoction lol

when i order it, i ask for rare because when i order the steak medium rare it comes back almost always medium well - which i don't like, way too dry! ... when i cook it i would say its a perfect medium rare ;-) & always let it rest before slicing into

What your grandpa made does not sound good to me.

And I prefer it to be venison to beef
