Wash the paper plates. I thought the plates were a little nicer than normal paper plates and was secretly giving her Kudos for buying the expensive paper plates. Then...she made me wash the darn things. If your going to wash paper plates why not use the regular plates out of the cabinet. I am sure my stepfather has topped this one but at the moment I can't think. I think best answer on here so far is the paper towels. Now that is just crazy...I mean cheap!

a chum of mine's son used to purchase cassettes or cd's and replica/burn them and return them to the keep. This has been approx 10 years in the past. i think of the return coverage has gotten stricter seeing that then. It would not have been this type of vast deal different than he replaced into an accountant and his spouse replaced right into a vet. It wasn't like they could no longer locate the money for it! lol

My brother goes to the bars with the video poker machines in casinos. At these bars, if you are playing the machine, drinks are free. If you aren't playing you pay so, when the bartender comes around, my brother puts a coin in the machine. It looks like he's playing so he gets a free drink. Then, when the bartender walks away, he cashes out and gets his coin back. I've seen him drink for a couple hours on the same quarter.

Not a family member I knew a woman who reused paper towels. She'd use them, rinse them with water then hang them out to dry.

You know those restaurants that charge differently based on age - you're 9, you're $5, but if you're 10, you're $5.50? My dad lies about my age to save money - I'm a teenager, but I'm only 4'10".
