yea.. u can get a magby but it depends on which version ur playing.... in some versions u need a female and male of the same species. but in others u can just use a magmar.. in the latest versions u can use a ditto so yea.. u can.. no they don't have to be the same level they can even be the same gender(creepy) lol the only thing is the move set... if ur magmar has "HM" moves that can't be deleted unless u go to the move deleter ur baby magby will also have that same move set an HM and yea it does take quite a while for it to hatch so be patient and use the bike as many chances as u get.... good luck

yah it will work and they dont have to be at the same level
and to breed them you just put them in the daycare
if they are the same one that has a baby form then you just put a female and male type in the daycare.
however you can do it with just about any pokemon but if they dont have a baby form then you will just get the same one.
it will take some time for them to breed though
and it takes 2500 steps for the egg to hatch
