In the picture its the plant with just the green leaves, none of the pink is part of this plant.

I have this plant and last year when i bought it, it had really pretty flowers, then it completly died. This year it came back but it hasnt produced any flowers or buds. Does anyone know the name of this plant? and how I can get it to bloom.

It's very similar to the hosta plant
They come in several varieties and colors.
The will have a long spike stem come from the center with small lavender flowers along the stem.

Sometimes new plants won't bloom the first year. I never give them fertilizer. Some people do. They multiply rapidly one plant can yield 6 or more the following year. Just dig it up in the late summer and separate the the rooting system .

The plant is a hosta, it didnt die, it went dormant. It will probably do it every year. Growing it in a pot like that is going to be a problem if you have hard freezes, you may need to place it in a protected area during the winter months if it cold. It would do much better in the ground.

Let me ask you this: is right now your growing season? Hosta will die back to the ground when they are dormant. Then they come back the next growing season.
