I do not view any of these choices as per se incorrect. I guess I would just make that decision in the event it happened to me...
ADDED: Why do some feel qualified to answer this question as if there is only one correct answer? I don't get it. Plus, I may be known to a person who I don't recognize... I find that tact and withholding an immediate response is more diplomatic in these situations.

I don't understand "the stranger sits down in front of you?" Has he joined me at my table? If so, I a) ask that he/she leave before I get the manager.
