... and your heart to a compromise?
How do you prevent your mind from spoiling everything, while it's actually doing it's job trying to prevent your heart from getting hurt?
Why is the heart so young and the mind so old?
Why is the heart so innocent and the mind so logic?
Are hearts from Pluto and minds from Mercury? (Think about this.)
Anyway... let's see what I get, because I don't know...

Pluto reminds me of the crazy dog from Walt Disney like hearts are sometimes crazy and Mercury is a from Roman Mythology identified with the Greek god Hermes serving as a messenger as the mind also does... sending messenges...
besides the fact that both Pluto and Mercury are planets too.

By deciding what is best for you and doing whatever you need to do to achieve it.
I have that dilema at the moment
My heart tells me no cos it was broken but my head is in control and it says yes because it understands her and forgives her and I am balanced. This is how I have been for a long time but the two are working together to get what they both know is the right result
She however is different. Her heart says yes and her head says no but her head rules her heart because her heart was broken before and doesn't want it again. So it doesn't matter what I want if she cannot overcome her dilema.
She really needs to talk to someone and resolve her issues

Maybe a compromise isn't necessary. God gave us a heart to love with and a mind to know the difference between real love and someone playing with your affections. Many is the time when the heart rules out over the mind and someone is hurt. I would rather have loved and been hurt than to not have known the love of my life. My Princess has been hurt but that doesn't mean she can't find her true Prince. He's there ...... waiting. And he will wait as long as it takes.

your mind spoils things only if you let it. . you need to hurt at times , not always be happy. it is natural to hurt.
you are young at heart , not your heart being young.
the mind is never old unless you stop thinking and learning.
the heart is innocent only while you are young before you know the difference from right and wrong.
the mind is not always logical/logic. when you make mistakes your mind is not being logical.
hearts are not from Pluto. Minds are not from Mercury either.
hearts are born with in you, as your mind is too.

I think if you mind can over-rule your heart then something isn't meant to be.
Dont agree hearts are from pluto and minds are from Mercury. For one Plutos cold and I dont think (except in few cases) anyone has a cold heart - but they are miles apart

Let your heart show the love, compassion, generosity and kindness it so wants to. If a person lets you down, let the head take over and protect you from further harm. But always give the benefit of the doubt first. If you don't ever take a chance, you will never be pleasantly surprised.

I have a very hard time with this, as I'm a sensitive and emotional gal, i typically follow my heart and don't listen to what my mind says. Consequently, I tend to get hurt more often than others would. However, that's life, I suppose. You are who you are. I rather like who I am, emotionally speaking.

the heart is so flawed, and the mind so limited, if you ask me they make up for each others short comings, in the end sometimes it's enough, most of the time it isn't in this world to me

Follow your heart until your head kicks in & says "hold on a minute, something isn't right here..."
then eventually you should go with your head.
