sit back open all the curtains/blinds enjoy your Riesling and watch the storm, pour some more wine and enjoy.

run to the mountains!!! and shout argh!
take down the riesling and turn on a light! then it wont be rumbling and it will be bright!

Lightning has been documented to strike literally, "out of the blue." From clouds up to 5 miles away, if I'm remembering correctly. But the risk is worth it. Lightning and thunder are sweet.
