What do Biologists think of media representations of cloning. They really p**s me off. You know when they clone someone on a tv show and the clone is an exact replica! They don't realise that a clone would form as an embryo and take just as long to develop. Anyone give me good and bad examples of media representation of cloning technology?

I have seen this; it is about as bad as depicting "aliens" from other stars and their planets as all having two arms two legs and a head and body about the same size and shape as a human. The producers (directors) of the productions realize it is not true but budget and the fact that Movies and TV never get much scientific realism in their productions make them foist it off on the public. The thing that really gets me mad is that the public just "laps this stuff up," keeps on going to movies and watching TV and never thinks critically.

I have never seen a good depiction of cloning on TV where the "mother" and her new clone are shown together.
