Well, the way we seem to be maligned in the US media may seem all subtle and harmless, but the effects do show up, it's just that you guys are not on the receiving end of it so I can understand why you have to ask.
As for Asian women that date exclusively white guys, I'm not against interracial dating and marriage, but at the same time I find something perverse about the reasons these girls tend to give for their exclusive choices. They'll give answers like we're chauvinistic (which is a complete excuse); have short d*cks (yes, I don't walk around the gym change room half erect); not manly enough (but by that logic they'd all be after black guys); we're short (well you're short too), etc.
The thing that gets me is that whatever paints you with the same broad brush in the media, you end up getting another dose of from them. The only thing that makes sense to me is that they've internalized "white" standards and racism, but they're just not apt to seeing it. In her view, she's "made it" to the mainstream and that's all that matters. (Typical materialistic Asian?) She can be analogous to a dog that thinks it's human, or she recognizes what she is but rationalizes her choices with all those excuses. Don't get me wrong, I think if you're attracted to somebody then I believe race shouldn't matter, but there's something perverse going on here.
But back to you're question, am I bitter? No, because I think the experience has made me a better person since I tend to think conservative but it's opened my mind to seeing how such seemingly subtle and harmless things can mess with your mind. And because of that I think I am better able to help other people with the combination of things I understand. Am I worried about my choices when it comes it dating? Not really -- I'll still do well with Asian women and there are other women out there who have it together in their heads, are open minded, and are really, really attractive.

I'm a white guy who only dates Asians. Not because I hate white women, but I have learned to love certain features. If beauty is in the eye of the beholder then I think the almond, body type, and skin. It just so happens that Asian women have theese features that I so admire. I don't think Asian men should be upset though. Considering white people only make up 10 percent of the population, which shows there are more than enough Asian women to go around.

I think we look down on Asian girl/White guy relationship because it doesn't seem to go both ways. We wouldn't have as much an issue of it if white women were willing to date us. Why are you not attracted to Asians?

Being the spokeperson of Asian guys everywhere, I hereby declare that Asian guys really don't care about the US media or white mainstream America.
It is no surprise that the media portrayal are in favor of white. Hell, just a few decades ago black people were portrayal as savages and still are sometime today. So yeah...the media is a reflection of racist white mentality, not reality. So please white people don't flatter yourself .

I'm a mixed Asian girl who dates whites, and yes, they are.
I really don't mind them disliking me for dating whites because well, I was never attracted to Asian guys, first physically and now mentally as well. Asian guys usually have inferiority complexes because of how the media portrays them as weak, effeminate, short etc and they tend to project this complex in everyday friend relationships with Asian women.
Frankly, I grew up around strictly white people and I am attracted to white guys, yet Asian guys elsewhere don't understand this. I don't have the time to persuade them to get it either. They really can just go to hell with their bitterness.

Asians can be 'uptight' but it's not all of them. Keep an open mind. The media and other things in life make out asians in general to be uptight bookworms. But experience shows me that they can be some losey goosey party boys too!
