i forgot what case exactly but it was in Oregon back in the day. A laundromat was closing down for the night and the person on duty there, Mrs. Gotcher was told by the store manager to wash a few extra clothes. She agreed knowing that she had already worked her 10hrs that day. She sued the owner and won, only to have the case brought up and countered later when women rallied for equal pay and working hours....
