I used to think the same thing, then I noticed those BIG lashes. So I figure for sure Tweety Bird is indeed a female.

Who cares? I always root for Sylvester.

It's hard to tell, but it's a male character. It's a common confusion. Like Nermal in Garfield (especially on TV), Nermal's male, even though he has a feminine voice.
