she's been in the hospital since monday and im just wondering of what you people think, she had got a scrape on her arm and its very very swollen and the infection has now spread up to her shoulder[[her shoulder is twice as large as her other arm]] and her fingers are swollen, and today her upper hand has turned a very dark color,shes been having a fever lately, but earlier it was down, what does this sound like?? [[yes i know i already asked the doctors and they are so stupid over here, but i want to see what you all know,thanks]]

Could be a staph infection caused by a staphacoccyl (not sure of the spelling) virus. This virus can be very very cruel and hard to fight, but it is possible to have a good recovery.

Not sure but the first thing I thought of was cat scratch fever? My mom got scratched by one, only about 1/4 inch long and it was bad. They figured it out on time. That is very dangerous. Is this a possibility? Could she have been scratched by a cat? I wish her well!

get the Drs into action before the child gets gangrene or dies

some sort of snake or spider bite to me, but probably a really bad infection that I don't know about, hope she gets better though.

By the sounds of it, it could be a snake bite. (were you there when the scrape happened?) but I'm not entirely sure...

tetnus i think thats how you spell it.. did she have her tetnus shot yet? it prevents infections exactly like that and it helps them heal a little better too... since she is 4 i doubt she has because she hasnt started school yet... i would advise getting her one of those and fast.. tetnus could lead to lock jaw and kill her
