Larry always get the people that are in the public eye most? I was wondering if they are paid more to be on his show or do they just like Larry King.

Legitimate news programs say they don't pay for interviews from anyone. Of course their are ways to get paid indirectly, like paying for the rights to show licensed pictures of the interview subject or receiving funds from a parent company of the news program. For instance CNN is owned by Time-Warner, so they could make a payment without it directly coming from the pocket of CNN. Shows like Letterman and Leno pay their guests a standard $500 fee for their appearances.

"They" say CNN doesn't pay anything for giving them an interview. Letterman pays a nominal rate of $385/show. David and Bill Cosby talked about it a while ago. And BIll said he never got his check yet from last time. Whoever appears on Larry King Live gets good publicity. Sometimes that's worth more than cash to his guests.

Depends on the guest. Since Larry King is considered a news show, and not a talk show like Leno or Letterman, he probably doesn't have to pay them at all. I'm sure The Beatles "reunion" show, for example, was done for free.
