I personally like the new Victoria. The old Victoria aka Heather Thom was too bitchy, and would never crack a smile.
The new Victoria is more laid back, and likes to have a good laugh.

Appearance is important. Actors still need to be sexually attractive. This is a soap opera that we are talking about. No one wants to watch a soap opera full of ugly people. Heather Tom is a much better actress. This new Victoria doesn't seem to be that great of an actress. She doesn't make the viewer feel what she is supposed to be feeling at the time. We don't have the same connection with this Victoria that we did with the old one. The new Victoria is a mess. She doesn't even look like she brushes her hair. It is always messy and frizzy. The gap in her upper two front teeth drives me nuts. Every time she talks, I am looking into her mouth. I can't help it. She also seems to dress more like a bum than a professional office person. The storyline with her and J.T is boring. The only reason why they have those two together is because it is convenient because they are married and having a baby in real life. Victoria and J.T's scenes together bore me.

Heather Tom was just a better actress. This has nothing to do with how she looks. It seems like Amelia Heinle doesn't fit the profile as Victoria who's supposed to be a shrewd business woman who stands up to her father. The new Victoria is too timid.

Personally, I could never stand the original Victoria. Something about her got on my nerves. Maybe her mannerisms or something. But I was really pleased with the new one-everyone has a different opinion-you can't please every body all the time. I wonder why they fired the girl who plays Colleen? Could it be because of her "image"? She has gained some weight since she was younger and first on the show, but that's a low blow to fire her and not even tell her she's fired until she had taped her last show. How messed up is that??

People get used to seeing a certain actor/actress as a character and when it changes the new one seems out of place. I think after a while it will be better... but her gap does bother me too.

Everyone is used to Heather Thom and no matter who took her place - they will not like her.
I remember when they went through a lot of "Jill's" when Brenda Dickson left - they finally settled on Jess Walton - I think she was enough of a look-a-like to appease the fans.

I have been saying the same thing every since I seen a lot of people on here saying that she is ugly, that or teeth are bad, and that her hair is nappy. I personally think she is a very pretty woman, I like her. So I can't actually tell you why everyone hates her but I can tell you that I'm with you.
Plus I don't really see anything wrong with her teeth and I don't really see anything wrong with her hair, yeah it's a little frizzy but if you watch Bold and the Beautiful Phoebe's hair is a whole lot more frizzier then hers!

I am fine with her, some times she has and exotic look, besides anyone else other than that freaky looking Tom girl is fine. I do not know why anyone likes the "old Victoria", I thought she was painful to look at. Not to mention whiny and just plain irritating.
