my answer i NFL wud win, and yes i no jsut becuase they play it but i just wanted to see what ppl think if it actualyl happened

It wouldn't even be close. Training for show and training for athletic performance are very different things. Bodybuilders look good but they do terribly in strength contests versus real strength athletes - and that doens't even consider all of the SKILLS involved in NFL football. I bet WWE actors couldn't even beat a good college team.

Any one who reads this question knows the answer would be the NFL players. Why? "Pro" wrestlers are roided out and muscle bound. NFL players are in a good balanced state where they are quick and strong. It isn't about flat ut strength either. NFL linemen understand leverage, and how to obtain it without the opponent playing along. Besides how many WWE stars run a 4.5 40 yard sprint? Besides guys that get too banged up to play football wrestler, ie Goldburg and the Rock.
For all the wrestling fans who made comments like "they know how to fight." That doesn't help you play football, unless you're at a Miami-FIU game. The WWE would be horribly outclassed by the NFL stars. Also consider the number of WWE stars who have bad knees. Ric Flair would have a heart attack trying to run around the field.

Are you kidding me? Take the 22 (Offense & Defense) from the NFL and then 22 of the best in WWE and WWE doesn't stand a chance!
Like the other dude said also, you could get you 22 of the best in college and go head to head with WWE superstars and again the WWE doesn't stand a chance.
Why? WWE has "only" so much that is "real". Like for instance, when Eddie, Owen, & Chris died, that is as real as the WWE gets. I played nearly 10 years of football high school and college and their is no other sport in the world that takes as much out of you as football does. I have also watched WCW/WWE/WWF since I was 10 years old. All it is is a soap opera!

I think Roger Goodell must go! He eliminated Touchdown celebrations, hard hits, wants to eliminate the kick off... Football is a physical game and players know that. I myself have been playing football for years, and I know I might get injured. Of course, I am not talking about unnecessary helmet to helmet contact and stuff like that, but you can't hit someone if he is running out of bounds, and so he can easily make 1-2 yards more! Players play because it's physical and brutal. And the fans watch it for the same reason!

take a look at goldberg,
hes been in the minnesota vikings C string line up..
so basically he doesnt even play in the nfl,
he just fails tryouts on a regular basis.
wasnt he like the best the wwe had to offer?
lesnar vrs goldberg was everywhere, than he disappeared to go play football.. well.. try to anyways.
no nfl superstar thats for sure..
i know ill get hated on for this, as the wwe questions are always little punk kids.. but comon now..
wrestling is FAKE! you cant write out the nfl script, play by play like the TVsoap wwe has become.

The NFL players would win, obviously. In fact, it would be like playing Tecmo Super Bowl, something like 70-2. The NFL players would eventually get bored and run out of their own end zone just for fun.
Any high school team would beat a team of actors. Everyone knows that.

Easy...Easy..Easy............ football players they have been training for it their whole life......Its a complex game of strategy.....Plus WWE people might be big and strong. But being big and strong doesn't mean you are going to be a good football player. You have to be fast. Some of those big linebackers are so damn fast......The game just gets faster and faster........YOu have to make a split second decision based on what the other team is doing........Also You have to be football smart. The NFL would wipe up the floor with the WWE for the simple fact that they know the game and the WWE people don't.......Plus its not even similar....NFL players are athletes and for real.....And some of my favorite people in the world..........Not knockin the WWE its just you can't compare a NFL player to a WWE player.........

WWE "superstars" couldn't hack the NFL, that's why they are there in the first place.
Besides, all these WWE supporters are just closeted 15yo kids. Come on, what straight man likes to watch half naked, oiled up, sweaty men grab up on each other's nether regions?

Football players would win no matter what they may not have as much power but they would have tatics and skill. And the wwe wouldnt know how to play offence.

I'm going out on a limb here, but I'm going to have to say that the FOOTBALL players would win at FOOTBALL.
Better not ask that question again, or Vince might do something like....create a football league.
(that was sarcasm, I realize that he created a "hardcore football league" and called it the XFL, and it was a mega waste of time and money)
