I think it's easy to simply dismiss W as a dolt and basically dumb and, in my opinion, that is exactly what he wants you to do. His approval rating, as dismal as it is, is as high as it is because about 30% of the country thinks that he's just "a good ol' boy from Texas, who's not a genius, just one of us." He most certainly is not. The man went to a private prep school in Massachusetts, then went to Yale, and finally moved on to Harvard to get his MBA. I understand the "his dad was the president" argument but at this time George H.W. Bush was just a Texas Representative. Bush didn't do great but he was an average student at two of the most above average schools. The longer people, especially those who hate him, dismiss him as simply bumbling his way through this debacle of an administration, the longer he will be allowed to get away with "high crimes and misdemeanors" (the requirement for impeachment in the Constitution). Bush is indeed a genius meglomaniac and God knows, as we all do, that he has done more than his fair share of destruction. And the destruction that he didn't cause, he couldn't resist putting his mark on it by botching the rebuilding efforts (see New Orleans, Kansas tornadoes... anything else in the past 7 years that required leadership). Bush is a very smart man, an incomprable megalomaniac and narcissist but he is not a good leader and in that, he is a bad president. His goal is, and always has been, to use his position to advance himself and his friends rather than advancing the nation, which is his job.

You honestly think this is all an accident from a man with a low IQ? Honey, I think he is evil and I think that what happened to this country and Iraq is maniacal and criminal. I don't know about Bush's IQ, but there is no doubt in my mind that this road our country is on in this point in time has been planned out by these evil people in office for quite some time to make some very powerful people more rich and more powerful. This isn't a conspiracy, it's based on factual evidence. We were going to invade Iraq whether there was 9/11 or not.

I disagree. There's a scene in The Last King of Scotland... at the end, when Amin is confronting the doctor. The doctor's last words to him were "You're a child... that's why it's so scary" (or something similar). That's pretty much how I feel about Bush... He's like a kid who watches too many movies (and can't tell them from reality).
