There's no way to tell, the outcome of a fight like that could go either way, even though most people expect women to be weaker, I have seen some very powerful (and scary) female wrestlers that could be equal or better then a man in a one on one fight. Point is, no one sex is better then the other, both sides have their strengths and their weaknesses, but we can't exist without eachother.

Neither "Female" nor "Male" is a reasonable answer.

How big is each of them? That could well be the deciding factor. But there are plenty of others.

For instance, upper-body strength tends to be higher per pound in males than in females. Endurance tends to be higher in females than in males. So what's your venue--a pro-wrestling cage, Central Park, or something in-between?

Are the two of them equally tough-minded? Equally motivated? And among the holds you're not barring, are allies included? Weapons?

After you work all of that out and more, I suggest you buy and learn the GURPS rpg (role-playing game) combat system, construct characters, and game it out. Decide ahead of time whether it's single elimination, 2 out of 3, 3 out of 5, or what.

Well I don't see what exactly this has to do with GLBT..

If both were well trained then it would be a toss-up in my opinion. Strategy, intuition (or intellect), and sometimes luck often play more parts in trained fighting than physical strength.

the male becuase male's body's were made differently from females. they gain more muscle mass, and also i think the guys center of gravity is lower, which makes him harder to fight

I would simply introduce the male to kkk... and they would go off as the best of friends.
My win, I think.

A man of course! Not being sexist, but men are naturally stronger than women.

let's see...probably the woman because she can just go for that 'weak point' that all guys have and do major damage to that part.
