how do you make a wooden speargun???

step by step or if you know of a site that can help me that would be greaty appreciated. also how do you keep a wooden speargun from becoming water logged. thankyou

I will see what I can find, but, just thinking I would use something like Hickory. One of my dive fins lot a small pin over 7 years ago and I just made a pin from hickory and it has worked all this time.

Do you really NEED a speargun? I think it'll just get you into trouble, but if you must have it, do a yahoo search.
Type in: "homemade wooden speargun" or maybe
"speargun instructions"
