No Bills
No attitude
No knifes, guns
No Traffic wardens
4 day working week
Can wear pyjamas to work.
No loud music after 11pm
Murders, paedophiles and rapists to be hunted down and put away for life

I would want everyone to be nice and everyone would have to stay in school. You would only have to be in school for 5 hours and go only 4 days a week. you would get 4 months off for summer break and there would be no EOCT's or any other form of standardized testing. No uniforms would be allowed in the school. Summer reading would not be required. There would be no such thing as a senior project. Once students were at the HS level they could choose their own classes to meet their future career needs. Computer and gym classes would be optional classes. Social studies would only be required of they were going to teach history or become an archaeologist. students would only be required to take physical science and could do others at a later year if they wanted to.

no illegals, the penalty is death
Welfare is to help, not a way of life - 5 year lifetime maximum
Taxes - everyone pays - everyone gets health and dental coverage
No person alive is worth $5 million a year in salary, and if so, you are charging the consumer way to much to afford that.
No divorce, free marriage counselling
Crimes against children are punishable by death
Minimum wage is the minimum you can survive on, not the wage companies are willing to pay.
4 weeks vacation after 5 years with your company
Control imports with tariffs to discourage dumping
Our countries goal is to be completely self sufficient

breaking the law = death penalty for any crime, that should deter a lot of people.
make all drugs legal . if you want to poison yourself with that crap then go ahead .
ban all religious activities.
Stay in your own country , if your not born here then you cant stay.
use more 2 seater vehicles with smaller engines (i am sick of seeing 4x4s and people carriers with just the driver)

My country would be like ancient Athens, focused on learning and philosophy but with a strong military also. Things like gay marriage would be legal, and we would do more to help the environment (ie making electric cars). We would also have no religion.

Great question!
Firstly everyone would be looked after, but no one is getting free hand outs......you have to work!
No smoking..but drinking is absolutley on the constitution.
friendliness to others is mandatory and free centres will be available for Monday morning grumpies!
Strive for peace but all citizens are required to enrole in times of war.
controlled immigration with no appeal.
Death sentence for murder, sexual crime or crimes against children and the elderly.
free state funded Christmas, Easter, and any other religious (not restricted to Christianity) parties. or parties for any reason.
Finally dictatorship...run by me....under advisement of hobbits!

if you have 2 children that the government pays for their births you are automatically sterilized. Only the elderly and handicapped are on government assistance.if you are convicted and sentenced to death you go directly to the gurney in the death chamber and are given that shot,every adult must have a job and pay their bills and taxes or are exiled to a deserted island.everyone must finish high school even if it takes them to age 50 to complete the 12 grade.

Simple all drugs would be legalised, but if you abuse it then you have to pay for any treatment.
Definitely definitely no religion allowed, everyone could do what they wanted as long it wasn't hurting anyone else.
And all disputes would be resolved by scrabble games.
