Hello, I was wondering if anyone has any ideas or answers for me. I did a pregnancy test 1 week ago and got a positive result. The following day i had some spotting and this lasted for a day. I have done several more tests which still give me a faint positive. Today i have done another test and it has come back negative. I am now 4weeks if i am still pregnant. Can anyone please have any advice they can give me as i am at my wits end.

You need a blood test at the doctors office. It is possible you are or it is possible you miscarried....Be safe, find out.

Not knowing whether or not you're pregnant can make any woman crazy - I've been there myself! The spotting you describe may be what is known as implantation bleeding. Some women bleed a bit when the the zygote implants in the lining of the uterus. If you have had several positive tests, I'd recommend making an appointment with your doctor/OBGYN. She can do a blood test to confirm your pregnancy. If you're not pregnant, at least you know. If you are, you need to get started with pre-natal care as soon as possible so you can have a healthy baby. Good luck!

My doctor told me that about 50% of pregnancys end in miscarriage, and most are before your period is even due, so most women don't even know. You may have an early miscrriage. The test line should be getting darker on each test since the HCG levels double every 2 or 3 days. Go see your doctor for a blood test.

You need to see your doctor. I hope everything is ok:)

I have had two early miscarriages and they were both heavy bleeding like a period. Spotting is sometimes normal during early pregnancy, only a doctor and a blood test could tell you what is going on.

Go see your doctor. You shouldn't have a negative test at 4 weeks, so it is possible that you miscarried. However, a miscarriage, even such an early one, would not be just light spotting. It would be at least as strong as your period. Definitely seek the help of a professional. Good luck.

I would say you are for sure still pregnant! You probably had more to drink this last time you tested and didn't use first morning pee and the test wasn't as sensitive.

Check out the website below, it is awesome for any questions you may have!
