if you have a 28 day cycle, you will usually ovulate on day 14... meaning day 1 is the first day of your period, so, about 1 week after your period.... if trying to get pregnant, i would recommend buying an ovulation test, they sell them at the drug store, near the pregnancy test, and it will let you know, if you are about to ovulate... however you usually ovulate around 1 week after the last day of your period...

It is different for everywoman. For the typical woman though you find out how long between your menstraul cycle. That # of days from the first day of one cycle to the first day of the next. After that for instance mine is 28 days and I ovulate on day 14 or 14 days after the first day of my period. Sperm can stay alive in you for up to 72 hours. If you are trying to get pregnant have sex every other day on days 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18. Do not have sex every day because the amount of sperm going into you is much less because it takes a full 24 hours for a man to get more sperm again.

Wome typically ovulate 12-16 days before the onset of their period. This is called their luteal phase. Ovulation can be thrown off by a varity of things, but the luteal phase does not change. Even if you have a regular cycle, lets say every 28 days, your ovulation day could be anywhere from day 12 to day 16.

Your menstrual cycle is 28 days on average. You ovulate in the middle of that - usually somewhere between day 12 and day 16 of your cycle. There are tests you can buy at the drug store that can tell you when you are ovulating.

Well, it matters on your cycle length. The average woman gets her period ever 28 day, and usually ovulates on day 14, right around the middle.
