I like Gwain he was the most human of them all.
and he was the wisest when it came to women
for king arthurs sake he wed an ugly woman.
when asked to make the decision for his "ugly cursed" wife
should she be ugly by night or day.
his choice was to choose what ever she willed.
unlike other knights Gwain ended up with a happy ending.

The exploit's of the Black-Knight make him my favorite and that I found him to be a real Knight that really existed. And to find out that he was a real champion of the down trodden also helped him to become my favorite........................................
