If someone has reached the screaming stage then they are out of control. It is far more effective to speak at normal voice level and firmly to them, repeating yourself as necessary. However, I do sometimes shout at them, not scream.

Does it work for her? I' ve never know it is work. Most of the time when you both scream it ends with slamming doors or some other form of violents

Yes, my daughter too! she screams at her older brother when he just looks at her! We've started calling her on it, giving her choresif she screams..or my husband has washed her mouth out w/soap - oohhh, i would hate that, but she still screams. maybe she's a slow learner...
