Love isnt a battlefield, selfishness is.When 2 people want their way 100% of the time and are never willing to compromise ,then divorce ensues and divorce is NOT a land mine, it is a nuclear bomb.

Interesting that love is a battlefield. Battlefield of what? Freedom of slavery? Principles? Or who pays for dinner? So that places the couple in love as adversaries to start.
If you are married, that other woman you take too much an interest would be the landmine and handgranade wrapped in one. One step wrong and you lose an arm and a leg. But wait, who would plant the landmine? Oh, that would be your adversary.

Love and marriage are 100% what you make it.
If you both do the right things you never have to step on a land mine.

That's pretty deep...I truly understand. When you love someone you go through things you never thought you would go through.
Divorce...a land mine...Nope...a nuclear war.

Having have gone through a divorce, I would say not at all. Because a marriage dies, does not mean the people must die with it.

Yes...but there are signs designating the mine field, if you're smart enough to see them:
- lack of compromise
- lack of sympathy and forgiveness
- lack of emotional maturity
