Just to correct a few "facts" as stated on this page by Jordan lovers:

To think that Jordan could have easily scored 81 points, when he never even scored 70 in a game, is crazy. Jordan, in fact, only had one 60 point game in his career that didn't require overtime (or double overtime) for him to get there.

Both Kobe and Michael each have four sixty-point regular season games... The Lakers have won all four of Kobe's 60 point games, while the Bulls were 2-2 in Michael's 60 point games... (the Bulls were actually 2-3 when Jordan scored 60, including the playoff game which they lost).

btw, if Jordan could have "easily" scored 81, he couldn't have picked a better time than that playoff game against the Celtics to do it... so what happened?

WTF are you talking about when you say Kobe takes 10 to 15 more shots a game than Jordan ever did???? Kobe's career high in FGA/game is 27.2... Jordan's career high is 27.8.

Kobe has had 6 seasons (out of 11) in which he's averaged 20 FGA or more per game... Jordan exceeded 20 FGA/game in TWELVE of his fifteen seasons. Jordan's other 3 years saw him average 19.8 (rookie) , 18.2 (2nd year, mostly injured) and 18.6 (final season) FGA per game...

Kobe has had FIVE seasons in which his FGA/game are lower than Jordan's CAREER LOW.

10 to 15 shots more a game???? WTF?????

Jordan led the NBA in FGA an all time record NINE times (finishing 2nd in 1989, otherwise it would have been 10 straight).

Kobe has led the NBA in FGA twice.

Also, Jordan did not shoot 50% for his career.

re: Ceaser Rodney - you say Jordan scoring 57 was "nothing unusual"? That would have been in Dec of 1992 vs. Washington... so that was "nothing unusual", eh?

Jordan scored 57 once, 58 once, 59 once, 61 twice, 64 once and 69 once... that's a total of seven 57-point games, out of 1,072 games he played in his career... if you think it was nothing unusual for Jordan to score 57, then tell that to the fans that attened the 1,065 games of his career when he DIDN'T score like that.

Anyway, yet more evidence that Jordan fans don't have a clue even when it comes to discussing Michael's own career... I've never seen a great player like Jordan have so many fans who know absolutely nothing about his career, but still talk about him as though they were experts.

No doubt about it, Jordan fans have the absolute haziest memories of any fans of any player in history... TEN TO FIFTEEN SHOTS MORE PER GAME FOR KOBE THAN JORDAN????? LOL

MJ. Kobe tries to immulate everything about Jordan. The one thing he hasnt done that Jordan has done is make players around him better. Scottie Pippen is a hall of famer because of Micheal Jordan. Scottie was good in his own right but his career flourished when he was with Jordan. After MJ he was just average. MJ won 6 titles but there were game clinching shots by BJ Armstrong John Paxson and Steve Kerr that made them playoff heroes. Kobe could carry a team on his back like Mj. But Jordan had a way of telling his teammates look I need you now dont let me down. Whereas Kobe takes it all in his hands and the success of the Lakers live and dies in his hands. Thats the difference. No matter how many points Kobe scores he wont have that characteristic like Jordan.

The greatest player of all time has been, and probably (maybe years from now, some1 will be able to fill MJ's hoes) always will be the greatest player of all time. His accomplishments speak for themselves. Kobe is only close to MJ on scoring, but nowhere close as a player. Michael has 6 rings, 6 Finals MVP, Kobe has 0 Finals MVPs. Michael shot OVER 50% his ENTIRE CAREER. End of story. For a shooting guard, playing that many playoff and finals games, shooting over 50%? Some centers have trouble with that. And he also has the record for most points averaged in his career, topping Wilt. People, there really is no debate. But, I will say this: Kobe Bryant is as talented as Michael, but will never be as great of a player as Mike. Kobe has 5 NBA Records, Michael has 69. Also, I don't ever want to hear Lebron James's name mentioned in a conversation comparing NBA stars to Michael. Only people comparable to MJ are Kobe and Wade back in 2006 Finals.

I haven't watched this Kobe guy but I know for a fact that one thing that made MJ a great player was having Scottie Pippen as a team mate.
Kobe I hear some talk and say he is real good but from what I also hear is that he isn't a very nice person unless he's forced to be. I have no use for some one like that.

MJ for sure! in no way is kobe better, the only reason he scored 81 is because he is a ball hog. Even LeBron is a better player than kobe, because he makes the players around him better instead of whining about not having anyone and just hogging the ball. Also I am tired of people comparing kobe and lebron to MJ, there will never be another player comparable to him.

MJ. The dude actually played the other side of the court(defense). And imagine how many points Jordan would have scored if he didn't have Pippen along side of him. If Jordan was cutting to the lane and Tree Rollins is wide open, do you think he'd pass it to him? NO! But if Pippen were there, then it's a given.

Let's see, Multiple All-NBA defense first team, Multiple All-NBA team in general, Multiple MVP( regular season and playoffs) , Defensive player of year once, scoring titles galore, and most important , 6 CHAMPIONSHIPS. Individual and team stats. Now the question should be," Does Kobe compare with Michael?"

Is that even considered to be a question? It is obviously MJ. Kobe does not even come close

That has to be the longest "sentence" I've ever read. Try using some punctuation, it will make it easier to read what the hell you're talking about rather than making yourself look like you're on a meth binge.

Anyways, Jordan is superior.
