Bennington is a nice small town. Burlington is nice small city. There are several interesting places to visit in Bennington. But Burlington, as a city, offers a much greater variety of things to do. So, what experiences are you looking for? And what is more convenient for your travel plans?

all depends on what you want to do Bennington is a nice small town couple of museums the monument Hemmings motor news has there headquarters in a old gas station with some classic cars on display. Burlington is a large city with all the things you expect. great waterfront . ECHO is worth a stop.

i have lived briefly in both of them...either is nice enough for a visit.. I prefer ed Bennington... more interesting history... they are not really that far apart...just opposite sides of the narrow part of Vermont...
