No, please leave him alone! He is already suffering enough in that he does not recognize all people are equal! His own ignorance will destroy him, eventually!

It is sad that in this day and age there are still people out there that are still racist. No, you should not kick his ***... But you should let him know that you overheard the joke and found it to be offensive. Ask him how he would feel if you told a racist white joke, or Asian, etc. You can also go to the jobs human resources dept. and file a complaint.

Ignore this guy. He's not aware how racist he is and probably doesn't care and I've heard worse jokes. If you've seen the people that had said those jokes I'll be happy if you kick their @s$ but for right now, just let it go.

The best way to deal with racism is to face the perpetrator and ask him/she directly in front of coworkers is he/she is a racist. That should take care of it.
I myself had a "meeting" with some important people around the office and the result was "them" resigning to their job. I kept mine!
Believe me, nobody wants to be known as "the racist" in these days when you can get the law on your side if this ever happens.

I think you should tell the guy to save his racist joke for outsie the office and at home. Tell him her really offended you. He may understand and he may not. And if he doesnt thats just the asshole he is. Im white but i can't stand it when I hear people making fun of any other race. Black, muslim, indian it doesn't matter. I always tell them how would you feel if I told you that you were worthless and stupid just vbecause you are this color of skin or because you wear this color. It always makes me mad. Well anyways just tell him how it affected you and give him an example like how would you feel if i said Blah about you because you blahh blah. It also hurts me to hear other people discriminating the white race. It just all needs to stop. It never will but I just wish it would.

Don't kick his ***.I know how you feel, racism is one of the most prevalent signs of limited brain power in America.Although,it WAS just a joke, and not a physical action or direct harassment.Even if your black yourself, just let it go,thats honestly the best thing for you to do.

You sure work with America's finest,...... What an a**hole that piece of sh*t is....I'm sorry you had to hear that....next time, maybe you should make a joke according to his race...but that would be stooping to his level. Believe in karma...what goes around comes around. Do what you feel is right in your heart. But, don't lose your job doing it.

Talk to your boss. There is no need for this kind of behaviour in the work place. He sounds like an idiot. Don't lose your cool, remember you are above him.

Don't loose your job of six years over this person. Then he wins, just let him get his when he won't expect it.
You are the bigger man by ignoring such crap. Just don't do him any favors.
Concentrate on your work and pray to God for help.
Good luck!!

Just leave those losers alone. Why let their ignorance make you catch a case? They were saying it loud so you could here it. Why stop to their level. Just leave it alone. And remember, sometimes we are our worst enemies.
