This is to Ops 1 in 2004 the Cardinals didn't lost to the Astros in the playoffs they lost to the Red Sox in the World Series. Get Your Fact Right. I hope the Red Sox win it all this year.

The AL is packed. So far the early favorites for the playoffs are the Angels, Indians, Red Sox, and Tigers. Any of these teams playing each other would be a great series. The Red Sox are teh favorite right now because they get the most publicity and have the best record.

Whoever said Ortiz and Schilling used steroids gave me a laugh. But the Red Sox pitching is perfect for a 5 game series in the first round. Schilling is still one of the best big game pitchers in baseball. Wakefield usually excells in the post season. Beckett has bloomed into an ace not to mention Dice-K's recent success.

It'll be tough for them, I say they lose in the ALCS. Though the ALCS should be REALLY good with a probable Angels vs. Red Sox match up. I'm a Mets fan, but the Angels are my AL team because Vladimir Guerrero is my favorite player dating back to his rookie year in Montreal.

haha, haven't you heard about counting chickens before they are hatched? sure, they are in a good spot with a huge lead right now but come playoff time anything can happen. Look at St. Louis last year. They win 83 regular season games and take it all. In 2004 the Cardinals won over 100 games, 104 I think, but they lost in the playoffs to Houston.

Can you handle the truth?
Schilling is their only pitcher that has ever done well for a whole MLB season and he has not always done that lately.
The hitting is good but I expect the pitching arms to fall off.
