No. You lose 5 points when you ask a question but you get 3 points (back) if you choose the best answer to your own question.
Your best answer percentage is not affected by how many questions you ask.

i highly doubt it. they have to choose your answer. if you ask a question, then pick the best answer, you get 10 points though.
