My grandmothers both cooked better than mom. I like to think I cook better than mom, generally speaking. I think Gordon Ramsay cooks with more flare, and certainly less swearing than mother.
But nobody beats her meatloaf, chicken parmesan or beef stroganoff.

Believe it or not ... it's my father. Now, that's not saying my mother is a bad cook. As a matter of fact, she's an excellent cook. I learned all my cooking skills and recipes from her. But my father was in the Air force for 20 years, and while working, taking care of us, and being a single mother when he was overseas, she did all the cooking etc.
Now that my Dad is retired, he does the cooking. My mom doesn't need to lift a finger. He even does the shopping. He has given me some good recipes, and loves to watch all the food network shows. Sunday dinners are a great feast!!!

She's a good cook, but of course there are A LOT of better cooks. Tho that does not include me! ^_^ I'm just okay, but I am getting better.

No one cooked better than my mom, she was amazing and could turn anything into a feast, still miss her cooking so much.
