You are kind of young for this- but you might want to get your parents to have you tested for diabetes or high blood pressure. Both can cause what you've seen.
Good luck!

Inner pressure can cause this, and stress does it, as does the body's excess heat and hot weather-especially if you have a weakness in a blood vesel (capillary), in that area. These tiny vessels burst easily under such conditions.
Place constant external pressure on it (with your finger placed on the outside of your nose pressing against the bone), without movement until it stops, do not interfere with it so it can form a clot where the rupture is, keep your head up to reduce extra blood flow and visit your doctor if it happens often, while it is still open, and ask to have it cauterized!!
This will assist to prevent future bleeds. The hot weather and body heat through the overuse of your body, added to the burst of the tiny vessel.

13 is the perfect age for presentation of nose bleeds due to a weakness in a small artery in the nose. Beside knowing that as a doctor, I myself had that type of bleeding, you will just out grow it with time. but you need to get checked by a doctor to make sure that is the correct reason and to make sure you don't bleed to much.
Nose bleed from hypertension is usually seen in older people >40, it very rare for someone your age to have hypertension but one visit to the docotr will settle everything and make sure it is just the simple bleed that occur at that age.
Offcourse, don't pick your nose and never put your finger in it. the doctor may be able to give you some medication that ill help it stop.
