Take your financial aid paperwork and just start filling them out line by line.
You will need your tax records from last year. If you are under 21 you will need to have your parents tax information too. Just take it one section at a time.
If you still are having problems, go to the financial aid office of the school you are wanting to enroll in and ask for help.

It's good to be making a positive change in your life. I'm happy for you. But you need to get in touch with your Financial Aid Office. Ask someone you know where one can be found or look them up. You can also contact a local high school (or college, whichever school it is you're going back to.) to find out about seasonally night classes. You're not a nobody, if you were you wouldn't have so many people answering this question. Keep an open mind and a positive attitude. Good Luck!

First of all, the best thing to do is to keep up a positive mental attitude. It's great that you are starting to make a difference in your life and I hope and pray that it works out for the best. As for the financial aid papers, usually the school you are applying for has councilors. They will be able to help. Even if you just call them over the phone. Good Luck!

Good for you! That's a very positive step to take. Some of those financial aid papers can be difficult to wade through. If you go to church, check with your pastor's office, and ask for some help. If you don't go to church, call the school and tell them you are having difficulty and ask for some help. If that doesn't help, contact your local branch of social services or volunteer bureau and ask them for some help. Or if none of that works, ask at a local senior citizens home. There are retired accountants, office managers and other people who are used to doing work of that sort and would likely be happy to volunteer their services.
Good luck to you.

Forget financial aid..
I suggest you start at kindergarten.
They have bright colors and graham cracker snacks so you don't get cranky.
By the time you cycle back through to Senior High, you may have a better clue on filling out those iddle widdle confusing forms.
