When I grew "up" I always wanted to be a Mother. Then when I really grew up I wanted to be a Grandmother. I am lucky to say these two wishes of mine have come true. Four children and six grandchildren. Now I am really, really ready to grow up and wanting to be a Great Grandmother. Wish me luck!

Absolutely. When I was growing up in Colorado, I always wanted to live in California, have a pool in the back yard, have children, and eventually grandchildren, and great grandchildren (like my grandparents did), with a nice yard and a dog or two.
I have everything I ever wanted and more. During my working years, I was a bookkeeper, a tour guide, a costume designer, and a foster home provider. I homeschooled my sons and my grandsons. Some things I never dreamed of, I am now a writer, and an award winning answerer on Yahoo!Answers. Who could ask for more?

No I am not. I wanted to be a pharmacist and a ballerina. I became a nurse when I discovered how much MATH there was involved in a pharmacy. Now instead of filling scripts I give them out. I am satisfied though because I really get hands on with the patients that I would miss out on in a pharmacy all day. Great question!

And now,
after all the growth all along, all these years,
the longing is to become once again what I was
BEFORE I grew up !
To enjoy the innocence in full awareness, consciously !!
( In ancient eastern tradition, the attempt to become innocent again, consciously , is called in Sanskrit language as "Dwija" (meaning, twice born... the first birth out of womb happened in ignorance, unawares.. now the attempt is to be re-born consciously !)

I never really knew what I wanted to be. I just knew that I wanted to make a whole lot of money. Still working on the Chemistry degree right now, then going off to Professional school for pharmacy...so...money...yes...so far so good :)

Yes. I'm one of the lucky ones. I liked cars since I was a kid, and ended up working for a car manufacturer. I enjoyed the work, did reasonably well, and as a result could provide for my family. The secret, I believe, is to do something you like.

No. I wanted to be a Chemist but I got swallowed up into corporate America to pay the bills. I am now in the legal field but I still swear one day I will pursue it.

I am still in the process, I'm fifteen, and my dream is to go and work somewhere where there is peace, and love. I hope that will come true - for my high school years in a university is filled with corruption and dirt , and you can tell- all the awful things in this world, that changed the "innocent me" to a "corrupted me"

Gee, I never thought about it, but you know, I really am.
The road has been a tough one, as it is for all of us; life's ups and downs.
But I really am, and THANK YOU for making me realize this. I have found a great peace in my mind and my heart.
