How can some people be so dumb? The only reason the Fairness Doctrine was enacted back in 1949 was because we didn't have the wide access to news and opinions we do today. The dems just want to use it to beat the views it doesn't believe in over the head. Iltrix is totally wrong when she writes what she does. Is Limbaugh the voice of corporate america? Back when the UnFairness Doctrine was in effect stations didn't air programs because they wanted to avoid controversey and any problems with the doctrine. I say, way to go Ronnie, yet again!!! LET FREEDOM RING!!!!!

Yes it would interfere with Free Speech.
Left Wing Democrats are wanting the Fairness Doctrine re-instated. Because they don't like talk radio talking about them.

The Fairness Doctrine ensures free speech by making sure all sides are represented and not just the corporate viewpoint that we've been forced to listen too since Reagan got rid of the Fairness Doctrine in the 80's. It is the people's airwaves afterall. We have the right to hear from all sides not just a one sided corporate communist side.

Well.....if yesterdays debate at the Senate is what they consider "fair".....50 minutes for the pro and 10 for the anti's.....they need to learn a few things. They want to censor. Because they don't like people knowing both sides. They do their best to tell us what they want us to know via TV and newspaper.....Radio equals it out. They were much happier when we blindly trusted them and just let them go ahead doing what they wanted. Problem is......they went over the line and have abused the powers given them and are ticked they got caught. They don't like being scrutinized like they do us. Dumb mindless morons are easier to control and we rocked the boat.
