My oldest son attends college there but tells me nothing I was wondering what college life is like up there

If you stop his allowance you will hear from him in a hurry!
Not that much goes on in Groton, so I think a lot of the kids there go up to Storrs, to UConn when they want to drink and party. Or, if they are 21 they can go over to Foxwoods and hang out with the players.
He's probably doing pretty much the same things kids at all the small colleges do. And probably there are some good reasons why he doesnt want to describe his activities in detail.
