Is my ex unfit to be a mother?

Question

She likes going out and closes the bars. Picks up a new guy the same night she dumps the old one. She dumps them because they wise up and cut off the money. She had multiple partners during the last year of marriage. She lies on a daily basis. Mentally incapable of telling the truth. These are facts ,not personal opinions.

I'm afraid of the role model part. The kids aren't in any physical danger, but look at what they see. This isn't normal behavior.

Sounds like your ex and my ex should get together...made for eachother....But to answer your question, yes she is unfit to raise your children. Take you babies and run...I did.

sounds like she has quite a nite life, the question next would be is this affecting her ability to take care of your child? if so then this is another issue. dont get me wrong, no child should grow up seeing their mother/ father bouncing back and forth w/ different partners that's not a role model. but if she is taking care of business and caring for the child during the day, working etc. then if she choose to date or hang out at night once in a while , i say go for it, she's an adult and it's utimatly her life choices whether good or bad in your opinion.

-people kill me when they think since you have children you should stop your "adult" life. i say enjoy life to the fullest, you are only as old as you say you are!! mother of soon to be 3, very proud parent.

Oh yeah, VERY unfit! If there is proof of what you are saying, you can get the kids without a doubt! That's if you don't already have them. Sounds like she's a hoe, not a mother.

O.k.it does not sound good .However you did not say anything about how she treats her children.I don`t care if you told me that your ex was a prostitute,if she took good care of the children loved them and put their needs before her own than I would say that she is a good mother.

Xspecially how many guys she is going thro. That makes me wonder how important her kid is too her compared to some random guy. She seems like she would probably just ditch her kid if some guy was willing to spend some $$ on her. I'm sorry she cheated on you, that makes her even lower!

Well..when she's at the bar..who is watching the kid? Is the child w/a sitter? Is there food in the house, clean clothes, clean house? what is the kid being exposed to? how is she when she's not at the bar?

your main concern is the children or child are well take care of , the main concerned of the courts is the welfare of the kids ,,, if they are well care for ,,,you havnt to take her to court and prove she a unfit mother,,, in alit of those cases the mother usually put under welfare system

If you feel that your children are in danger because of her ways, then it is your obligation as their father to protect them. Why are you here asking questions? You should be contacting an attorney and starting custody proceedings against your ex wife.
