the worst torture.Life itself is not made to be forever. That is the beauty of it. Life itself gives us a certain time on this Earth to live and love. By being immortal, what does that do to us? Sure, we could do everything we ever wanted but what haappens after that? We would be left with nothing else to do. Life would become dull and monotonos. Life would not be Life anymore. I would be horrid to live so long.

I think anyone who seeks immortality has to be an ego-maniac. I am fine with the idea that I will die at some point in the future. The longest list of torture that I could envision is something that I would rather not think about. The cost and toll on human society for having immortal beings is beyond anything in sci-fi flick.

HMMMMM, not being able to die, right?
You would have to be ruthless for sure. If people found out and imprisoned u...that would suck.
My advice to an immortal. Rob several banks...Ski mask, gloves and automatic weapons. Dont worry about armor, youre immortal. Become wealthy in other words, thru investments and or buisness so your money makes itself.
Now, my fear as an immortal would be this. Say 6000 yrs from now, a planet-destroyer class meteor hits the Earth! What then? Either you will float forever in the vastness of space or until a sun or stars gravity pulls you into it. Can u feel pain if you are immortal? If so, and a sun sucks u into itself?!?!?!?!?! AAHHHGGGGG!!!!!!!! youre in HELL basically.

Depends.

Are you paralyzed? Blind? Deaf? Normal and Healthy? Will you still age and continually decrease in ability with every passing year?

So many factors for immortality. I will cast my vote early and say Worst Torture just because I don't want to see my wife, parents, kids, grand kids, and all die while I'm still living. No one could ever replace my immediate family and that would make life worthless to me. If you haven't got family and friends, what do you have?

It seems pretty nice so far. I'll keep you posted.

Let's put it this way... what could possibly happen to me in a thousand years that couldn't have already happened?

Plenty of people outlive their loved ones. Plenty of people accomplish all the goals they initially set for themselves. These kinds of things happen all the time.

To focus on only the possibility of bad is to ignore the possibility of good. Maybe there will be world peace. Maybe whole new worlds will open up. Maybe you will find new loves to make your old ones seem like nothing.

Maybe. You can't possibly know.

So just remember - the evidence that YOU are not immortal is currently NONE. See ya in a thousand years.

Torture. The greatest gift would be for us to choose our own timeline of existence.

it sound like the best gift to have.. but after a while seeing all your loved ones die and having no one and doing all the things you every wanted to do and having nothing to look forward to it would be a torture.. and being immortality means you can not die but does it mean that your body can not get hurt? to me it like the movie ground hogs day.. doing something over and over and over again and trying to get it right . i love to live longer but not for every
