im going to see them tonight with my favorite band deftones, here in my home town fresno, ca. deftones is coming with the fall of troy and dir en grey. i love dir en grey but has anyone heard them live? are they as good as they sound live?

Dir en Grey is definitely one of the better bands. Trust me, I've went to plenty of their concerts, and they certainly know how to put on a great show. All five members pour their heart and souls into their performance.
Anyway, yes, Dir en Grey is AMAZING live.

Dir en grey are definitely great live. Though sometimes it varies depending on their mood, etc. Usually though they are full of energy (Toshiya esp.) and play off of one another. However, in recent year (maybe due to their extensive tour scheduling) Kyo's voice isn't as good as it should be.

I've never been to a DeG concert before (they scare me also), but I've been told by friends that they're good live.
Have fun at the DT concert (my sister will be jealous;) .

they rock!!! seen them live when they came to nyc. they also rocked on the 06 family values tour (get the dvd if you can) kyo is mad sick lol

ive seen DVDs of live performances and they are pretty good live
