I'm trying to put a new blade on a Skilsaw, and in the middle of the new blade, there's a small diamond-shaped cut-out. How do I remove it so it can fit the saw? (and pushing it isn't working :) )

Take a pair of needlenose pliers and rock the center diamond out. You should be able to see a line where the metal will break, just use a rocking or twisting action. A large screwdriver works best as long as the head of the screwdriver doesn't fit through the hole.

Most skilsaw blades I use don't use the diamond knock out. Make sure before you knock it out. Take the old blade off before you remove the diamond.

Use a Hammer to remove that Diamond. Also be sure you put the blade on in the right direction. Bye

Put a screw driver in the hole.
