y = (sinx)^3
dy/dx = 3*(sinx)^2 * cosx

You could rewrite this in various ways.

y = (sin ² x).sin x
y = (sin x) ³
dy/dx = 3.(sin x) ².cos x
dy/dx = 3.sin ² x.cos x

I like using the product rule, just to be different .
y'=sinx^2cosx+sinx(2sinx)(cosx)
y'=sinx^2cosx+2sinx^2cosx
y'=3sinx^2cosx.
