if so, what changes might you make while in office?

I'd send Blackwater troops to round up all the members of the Iraq parliament and make them vote on whether they want the US troops out. I think they'd say yes, and the next president would be stuck with the fact that the sovereign nation of Iraq had asked the US to withdraw. He'd have to set a timetable.

Then I'd go personally to the UN and tell them the US wants to recognize Palestine as a sovereign state, with exact borders to be determined within a year. Many other countries would vote yes, and that would be that. I'd ask all nations to contribute to a peace keeping force for the temporary Palestine/Israel border.

Next, I'd sign an executive order to ensure enforcement of fines and other penalties against employers of illegal workers. The next Prez wouldn't revoke the order, because then he'd appear to be "pro-illegal".Many workers would go back to Mexico, and fewer would cross the border because it would be much harder to get a job in the US.

After this, I'd sign an executive order directing t Cheney and the Department of Justice to comply with all document subpoenas that had been issued by Congress. I'd send US Marshals over to his office to collect the copies.

Fourth, I'd commission a portrait of myself to hang in the WH with all the other Presidents' portraits. This would ensure my place in history, above Bush!

Immediately after retiring I'd hire a PR person and a speech writer so they could book me for a few lucrative speeches . I'd also hire a ghostwriter to edit my memoirs of my fabulous week in office.

If I get the pension that a former President does, then sure! Otherwise, forget about it.

During my week, I would cut the size of government in half, and start an investigation into how Haliburton spent all the money given to them. Not much time for other things.

I'd have Monica stop by the oval office for lunch and dessert. Then I would make the US Senators and Representitives pay income taxes like the rest of us, instead of getting millions of dollars a year tax free.

I would start by returning to the rule of LAW. I would follow the oath of office for the job to "Preserve, Protect & Defend The CONSTITUTION of the United States". I would go after the Employers of illegal Aliens and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law. I would start moving the troops out of Iraq, sending those needed to Afganistan to find Bin Laden and get that over with. I would stop the illegal wiretaps of US citizens and send the Esteemed Mr. Bush & Cheney to the Hague to stand trial for war crimes.

Tell all the countries that owe us money to pay up or cut off all contact. Then tell the oil companies their gouging days are over. Stop or I will take them over. Demand wells be drilled here and tell OPEC to kiss my @ss.

I would first make sure that the Clinton stains were completely removed from the Oval Office carpet then I would issue a Presidential order to give our fine men and woman in uniform a large pay raise.
