Running for homecoming princess I need some ideas for my campaign...How to get people to vote for me?! What kind of things should I give out?=D

Things to give out meaning incentives..candy and stuff!

You shouldn't really try to bribe them with anything like candy. What grade are you in?
Some nicely decorated posters wouldn't hurt (and make sure you place them in highly visible or busy hallways so that they won't "disappear" or get written on or anything without anybody seeing who did it)... But mostly, you should let your normal personality speak for itself. Are you all popular and stuff? If so, those who like you will vote for you, unless someone more popular is running...you know how it works. Hopefully, you're so cool and well-liked that the votes will speak volumes. If you were a materialistic, two-faced, gossipy backstabber or anything like that, then only those peers who relate to that will vote for you, and those whom you wronged or snubbed will remember it when voting time comes. If it's a looks thing, then let your beauty shine! If they vote visibly by coming to a table or a booth, then do give out some kind of nice token, but it shouldn't be candy. If its a secret ballot, which it usually is, you'll just have to wait it out. Let your goodness radiate and see what happens. Good Luck!!

Have a smile and a kind word for everyone - not just the popular kids. If you can include that person's name when you say hi or talk to them, even better. Others might forget the tactics you used to get your votes, but they won't forget a kindness. Don't stop this practice when the votes are tallied. Continue it through school and later in the work force. It will serve you well. If you feel you need a gimmick, cookies are a good choice. They're not messy, and everybody likes them. Best of luck.

Have a little house party and invite a bunch of friends we always just did votes to see who won.. But we also made posters with vote for me on it.. Dont make it look like your begging just have a little get together

Just have all your friends support you, and the word will spread. It is no good to buy votes!! This is actually a popularity contest, so you need to make as many friends as possible, especially the ones on the short bus!!!

Give people good reasons why they should vote for you. Be yourself. If you act all weird and give out a whole bunch of silly stuff, they would be kind off bored of that. Use your imagination. Be creative and smiley!

i would be nice to everyone even the "werid" kids and to people dat u don't like. get posters and have some of ur friends help u out by posting poster and handing out things to the kids. i would had out candy or cupcakes dat have a tag attached to it sayin vote for ---------- (w.e. ur name is) and any other fun thing dat teens would enjoy. get different kinds of candy and if u make or buy cupakes get vanilla and chocolate cause people have different taste.

How about a speech on how you would use your title to improve the lives of underpriviliged grown ups,bring about world peace,and do something to control the pet population.
Swimsuit competition is gonna be interesting.
