It's definitely annoying. I usually pass by them. I do however like your example... simple but to the point. lol

I know, I hate it with immense malice. People think they're cool if they act too lazy to push down two more buttons to form a real word. Also, saying 'lol' is not cool anymore, nor was it ever. If you say it on a regular basis, I would indeed like to throw you out a window.
