This must be what they call the "Stupidity of Youth".
If you REALLY have to ask which is more important, the quality of your college education or your high school boyfriend, then you're a complete idiot who deserves to make the moronic choice.
Go ahead, go tell you bf that the BJs came with a lifetime guarantee. Christ.

The problem is that in this world you don't really have a choice. If you have the brains to it, you should go to that school. If your relationship is worht it it will easily withstand this "test". You should try to explain it to your boyfriend that it is for the good of both of you.
If I love somebody there is no time and distnace that can separate me from them. Even if I was to wait 10 years without seeing the other.
But if your relationship is just budding promising to grow as strong as I depicted then by all means give it a chance. Skip a year. Find an easy job and spend the rest of the time with him. Things will be more clear after a year, hopefully.

A boyfriend is for a day, but a college degree is forever.
Have you any idea of the number of women who so regret not getting htat college degree when they were young? I know one poor woman who was in MEDICAL SCHOOL, and dropped out to marry her pharmacy boyfriend. Now she is working for a physician as his lab technician, and she's divorced from the pharmacist, who by the way is making good money, better than she is now, but she would have so out-earned him had she JUST STAYED IN MEDICAL SCHOOL when she was younger. Live and learn. Hope you learn from others' mistakes.
Is he also going to college? Because there is a great likelihood that if he is not also a college grad that you are going to go your separate ways in the future.

DEFINITELY go with the school. If you two are really meant to be together, you'll work it out. If not, then no sweat. Move on. You'll find a new boyfriend, and he'll find a new girlfriend. You'll find it is much easier to find a new boyfriend than it is to get back into school. Frankly, do you really want a boyfriend who can't even handle you going to school? If you do, that is your choice, but there is no reason it can't work out even if you DO go to school... if he really is worth it. Love is often all about sacrifice. Make him make this one, and you'll know if he REALLY loves you, or if he is just spineless. Don't forget that your future is at stake! Good luck, and congratulations on getting into school!

Ok think with your head and not your heart because it will mislead you (sometimes). If this guy loves you then he would want you to go to school and better yourself not only for you but for the both of you. Also he apparently needs to take some time to better himself because he seems like he doesnt believe in your love if he thinks that you two will split just because your goin to school. Seriously just remember your worth waiting for and if you don't do for yourself then who will? Not many ppl will. Do NOT let him make you feel guilty for wanting more in life. If he is still worried tell him to enroll and you two can work on yourselves ... together.

Kick him to the curb...who wants a crybaby control freak for a boyfriend anyway.
If he can't handle you going away to college to make yourself a better and more marketable person, than he doesn't have your best interests in mind. Doesn't he have any goals himself?
Go to college of your choice, dump your boyfriend, there are SO many more fish in the sea.

Go to school....If he really cared for you like you say, he should value your education like you do. School may not be for him but it is what you want to do and if he cant honor that then move around......Trust and believe there will always be somebody there for you
