Well first if it would depend on what type of accident it was, if it was a minor car crash i would get the kids away to safety, take them back inside the shop and get the owners or some one free to call for help, police, ambulance whatever... if it was a mugging i would hang around and wait to give a statement to the police..
to be honest you need to give the example of the accident before i can real decide..

I would have to check to see if the people in the accident was hurt or not, call the police and wait for them to arrive, unless everyone in the accident was ok.
But knowing you have kids in the car, it would be hard just to leave them in the car. So probably call the police and let them know about the accident and give them your phone number as a witness.

Walk into a store and ask manager to watch kids for 5 minutes and use phone, its an emergancy. Call 911, and than explain what you saw. Than go home.

I would probably use my cell to call the police on the way or just call when I get home. Or tell someone else to call.

Can you elaborate because i know people who have had accidents by following through and thats not cause to call the rozzers!!!
