Speaking to conservatives. Liberals can join too. I am an independent conservative with no affiliation to either the Republican nor the Democratic party.

The question is Shouln't we be the one's leading the fight to save the evironment and preserve the grounds where we camped as children. The rivers we went swimming in and enjoyed hours of fighing. We must be out there planting trees and trying to preserve our hunting grounds so our posterity can enjoy all the experiences we had as children. If the government is not willing to do anything about it, don't sit around and protest go out and clean up a forest or plant a tree.

PWithout a doubt. We have a responsibility to manage our planet, our country in such a manner that will provide our kids and their kids and so forth, clean air, clean water and unpolluted lands.
profits from pollution only means mortgaging our kids future. Environmentalists helped promote clean water, clean air and a clean planet.
Yet some morons want to be protected by those who would help them. Pathetic.

Don't have much choice in the matter.Ever hear of U.N. Biospheres?Government landgrabbing?Public lands in pristine locations sold off to the highest bidder?The average Joe does his part with recycling and the like.Why does the government shoot down alternative forms of energy?Lib...conserv.....it's a shell game.We lost our say during the New Deal[at least.I'd say it was in 1865].

The eco freaks are the ones who are selling the USA down the river. Our industry is moving out of the country, our minerals aren't being mined and our forests are burning down or being eaten by bugs. Read the decline and fall of the roman empire and look around you.

The interesting thing is that the environment doesn't really need saving. I mean, smog sucks, so we should work to get rid of it, litter sucks, so we should work to get rid of it. But the environment is doing just fine here in the US, if you want to see a place that needs environmental help, look at Eastern Europe...
