Nope, it doesn't effect the earth at all, even the name carbon footprint doesn't match with the theory it is supposed to be connected to. Carbon can be found in wood, fossil fuels, charcoal etc, when you burn things containing carbon then then the carbon reacts with oxygen and becomes CO2.

I suggest you read about some of the stuff yourself, looking at facts (careful of bias). It is also almost impossible to accurately measure the apparent carbon footprint. Some websites tell you how many planets we would need if everyone was like you but this is obviously flawed as nobody can tell how much CO2 effects the climate if at all. You can only show that it does or doesn't. There is no evidence to suggest that it does, only presumption and money.

Yes, I hope you are NOT proud of it.

A Carbon Footprint is a measure of the impact human activities have on the environment in terms of the amount of green house gases produced, measured in units of carbon dioxide.

I just read about this site from the wall street journal. It's called the Carbon Diet Plan, which lists ways to improve one's ecological profile "and provides inspiration for your friends to do the same."
