Has anyone considered the personalities on the current Knicks roster? Bringing in troubled Zach Randolph wasn't a bright move, and considering the addition of the insane Ron Artest is equivalent to injecting yourself with an infected needle. I don't see one true leader on the team who can serve as a mentor, role model and morale booster -- and, that includes Isiah. Look at San Antonio, Phoenix, Dallas, Detroit and Miami, to name a few -- those guys have respected leaders in the lockeroom and on the court who play team basketball. There's no "team" mentality on the Knicks anymore, and hasn't been since the days of Ewing, Oakley and company. The Knicks have a team of individual players who all want to win a championship while the teams noted above all work for that ultimate goal as a cohesive unit. Let's get some leadership, a floor general and a motivator who's performance off the court is just as effective as it is on the court.

The Curry Trade wasnt that bad, just giving up the 2 draft picks is what hurt them. One yes not two picks. If the Knicks stay healthy this season, they can do damage in teh east. If Q, Crawford, and Lee was able to play last season, they would have caused trouble last year. People make Zach seem like a bad guy, but hes gonna get his act together, Look at what we did for Spree. All the knick lost was Frye (soft with no heart) and Francis (bum Knees), for a 20 and 10 guy. Zach is one of 4 best PFs on the east. any way you cut it, its a good trade that makes them the 4th seed in the post season.

Channing is a good play but he is not the future. He can't rebound or block, he's only good for 15ft jumpers. He's potential is extremely limited, and coming off the bench for oden and alridge seems like a comfortable career outlook for him.
We can't be too quick to judge zach on his past. He came into the league at 18 under maurice cheeks, a useless coach who was unable to influence anyone on that team. Then comes continous losing with no sign of improvement, it wasnt a big suprise that a young kid would do negative things in that situation. BUT, Zeke is a leader. We can rest assure that he will control Zach and remove any desire for THC that he may have. I may be wrong on this, but has any knick been in trouble outside of the court while zeke has been in charge? nope

Of couse, because no team can double-team Eddy Curry anymore, just pass it to Zach and its an automatic shot. Or dish it out to the perimeter (Crawford,Marbury, Robinson, Q-Rich) Lets Go Knicks !!!!!!! Knicks+08=playoffs

Dont list Marbury and Francis. Eddy Curry alone ruins any happiness towards the KNicks.

its not going to workout well, channing frye was a good player and a future of any franchise he steps on the floor with, randolph who is going to the knicks has already passed his prime and has a problem with drugs which could lead to suspensions and hurt the team
