make sure they are dry before you put them away, or just dont use wooden spoons =]

After you wash them, you should dry them off really well and keep them in a cool, dark place.

Don't put them in the dishwasher, hand wash only. Also, when hand washing don't let them sit in the dish water too long and let them thoroughly air dry.
