Mass Media. Celebrities in general. The current political regime. Religious and pseudo-political scandals. The products that celebrities endorse and that we buy into. Excessive wealth. All you can eat buffets. Sex. Material things in general.
These are the things that we can live without and by doing so we would find more peace in life. A pity that we are all so attached and it is all too ingrated into our lives that we struggle to give any of this up.

All of those horrible twenty something spoiled blonde druggy alcoholic celebrities including but not limited to:
Paris Hilton
Lindsey Lohan
Nicole Ritchie
Brittany Spears
If we could go a whole week without hearing about any of them, I think it might lead to world peace.

Conservatism.
Also, Magnolia (the movie), Breakfast at Tiffany's (the short story was waaayyy better), Being John Malkovich (the ending sucked) and grammar (yeah, I use it, but it's not the answer to all the problems in the world.)
Politeness.
